<p>PURPOSE: A motion detecting method and an apparatus are provided to obtain motion information using successive frame information, and to generate a command using the motion information. CONSTITUTION: A motion detecting method and an apparatus comprises as followings. The successive frame images about a subject for photography are inputted from an image sensor(200). A difference image between a frame image of the inputted current frame and a frame image of the previous frame is produced(210). The projection data is obtained by projecting the difference image on the reference axis(220). The feature information from projection data is extracted(230). The locus of the feature information is analyzed(240). The motion data of the subject is obtained using the analyzed locus(250).</p> |
