PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical battery and a film therefor.SOLUTION: There are provided an electrochemical battery having an alternate conductive region and a dielectric region and the film therefor. An ion conductive composite layer includes: two or more conductive components, each including one or more conductive passages; and one or more dielectric components, each including one or more ion conductive passages. The conductive components and the dielectric components are adjacently disposed to provide a fluid impermeable composite layer.
