<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system hardly affected by ringing.SOLUTION: A communication system of the invention comprises: a trunk line having a pair of communication lines; two first communication devices, each of which has a termination resistor interposed between the pair of communication lines and is connected to each end part of the trunk line; a branch line 4 including another pair of communication lines connected to the pair of communication lines, respectively; and a second communication device 1 having a communication unit 16 connected to the branch line 4, where the two first communication devices and second communication device 1 communicate mutually. The second communication device 1 comprises a resistor 17a which is interposed between the other pair of communication lines included in the branch line 4 and has a resistance value corresponding to an impedance equal to or higher than a characteristic impedance of the branch line 4 and lower than an input impedance of the communication unit 16.</p> |
