<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change set vehicle distance without giving discomfort to a user in an auto-cruise function.SOLUTION: A drive support device 10 having an auto-cruise function for maintaining a distance between an own vehicle and a preceding traveling vehicle at a set vehicle distance, switches display of the length of the set vehicle distance in a display part 104 when setting operation is performed in a case in which the setting operation is performed to an operation part 102. On the other hand, a braking/driving control part 106 for controlling a braking/driving mechanism of the own vehicle, starts control on the basis of the set vehicle distance set by the setting operation after predetermined stand-by time elapses when the setting operation is performed and then the display by the display part 102 is switched.</p> |
