摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce residual stress generated on a lamination body of a portion where residual stress and external stress are integrated to be intensively applied.SOLUTION: A ceramic electronic component includes: a rectangular parallelepiped laminate body including a plurality of dielectric layers and a plurality of conductive layers which are laminated; and a pair of outer electrodes which are mounted on both sides of the laminate body and are electrically connected to at least a part of the conductive layers. Each of the outer electrodes are formed of a sinter metal layer mounted on the laminate body, a conductive resin layer made of a mixture of a resin component and a metal component, and a plating layer covering the conductive resin layer. One of the pair of the outer electrodes is mounted from a first end surface to at least a second principal surface, a first side surface, and a second side surface. The other outer electrode is mounted from the second end surface to the second principal surface, the first side surface, and second side surface. In a direction where the first end surface and the second end surface are connected with the shortest line, a maximum length of the sinter metal layer formed on the second principal surface is shorter than a maximum length of the respective sinter metal layer formed on the first side surface and the second side surface.
