<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deformable material capable of being deformed largely at a low voltage, and an actuator capable of being deformed largely with a low voltage.SOLUTION: A deformable material of the present invention includes: a deformable substance having a deformable part where a molecular structure is deformed by an oxidation-reduction reaction and a first polymer chain having a molecular skeleton including at least one monomer of a vinyl monomer and an acrylic acid monomer; and an electron transfer substance having an electron transfer part having an oxidation-reduction potential and a second polymer chain having a molecular skeleton including at least one monomer of a vinyl monomer and an acrylic acid monomer. The oxidation-reduction potential of the electron transfer substance is lower than that of the deformable substance.</p> |
