<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for restraining an enlargement of a shot-peening device, while restraining shot grains from scattering to the outside of the shot-peening device.SOLUTION: A shott-peening device 10 carries out shot-peening on a processing object. The shot-peening device 10 comprises: a housing 12 having a projection chamber 18; a carrying device for carrying the processing object; and a projection device. The projection device projects shot grains on the processing object carried in the projection chamber by the carrying device. The projection device projects the shot grains in a direction parallel to a vertical surface including the carrying direction of the processing object carried in the projection chamber. The housing 12 also comprises: a first chamber 16 adjacent to one end part of the projection chamber 18; and a second chamber 22 adjacent to the another end part of the projection chamber 18. The first chamber 16 and the second chamber 22 are formed on the same side with respect to the carrying direction, in a direction crossing the carrying direction. The carrying device carries the processing object to the second chamber 22 by passing through the projection chamber 18 from the first chamber 16.</p> |
