<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant oil composition for natural gas engines.SOLUTION: A lubricant oil composition comprises (a) major amounts of an oil having a lubrication viscosity, (b) one or more phosphorus-containing wear-resistant additives other than zinc dithiophosphate, (c) one or more ash-free dispersants, (d) one or more metal-containing cleaning agent and (e) one or more antioxidizing agents. The lubricant oil composition does not contain phosphorus in a content higher than about 0.03 mass%, relative to the total mass of the lubricant oil composition, and is essentially free of any zinc compounds.</p> |
