<p>The patent specification relates to a voltage source inverter capable of improving an initial charging circuit thereof. The voltage source inverter according to the patent specification comprises; a converter unit which converts input alternating current power of three-phase into direct current power; an initial charging circuit unit; an overvoltage protection resistance which is connected to the initial charging circuit unit in series and distributes the converted direct current power with the initial charging circuit unit; an I/O relay connection unit which is connected with the overvoltage protection resistance in series and controls the operation of the overvoltage protection resistance; a DC link capacitor which is paratactically connected with the overvoltage protection resistance and the I/O relay connection unit and performs a charging function based on the initial charging circuit unit and the overvoltage protection resistance; a control unit which controls the operation of the initial charging circuit unit and the I/O relay connection unit; and an inverter unit which converters the direct current power charged in the DC link capacitor into alternating current power.</p> |
