PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel optically active amine; a novel asymmetric catalyst including the optically active amine; and a manufacturing method of an optically active halogen compound using the asymmetric catalyst via high-efficiency asymmetric organic molecule conversion.SOLUTION: The provided novel optically active amine, etc. are demonstrated by the formula (R)-1; an asymmetric halogenated derivative, etc. of a di-substituted aldehyde expressed by the reaction formula 5 such as α-phenylpropionaldehyde (V), etc. can be synthesized by using an asymmetric catalyst including the optically active amine, etc.: [R is a 3,5-di(t-butyl)phenyl group, 3,5-diphenylphenyl group, 2-naphthyl group, etc.]. |
