PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel holding structure which reduces the occurrence of failure of display on a display panel due to application of an uneven pressure to the display panel.SOLUTION: A holding structure of a display panel 50 includes: a rear case 10 having a substantially square opening 11; a plurality of elastic sheets 41 to 44 provided so as to surround a periphery of the opening 11; a display panel 50 provided so as to close the opening 11 via the plurality of elastic sheets 41 to 44; and a pressing plate 60 provided so as to press the display panel 50 to the plurality of elastic sheets 41 to 44. The rear case 10 has a recess in a part of the periphery of the opening 11. The plurality of elastic sheets 41 to 44 are provided so that they partially overlap with each other. The plurality of elastic sheets 41 to 44 are constituted so that at least a part of the recess is filled with their overlapping parts.
