<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end portion of a vegetable, etc. cutting device provided at a relatively low cost and with a simple structure, and capable of efficiently performing a cutting operation of an end portion of a vegetable with a simple operation.SOLUTION: There are provided a transportation belt 3 having holding members 5, 5 at an appropriate interval on an entire outside surface, and horizontally circulating, and a round blade 21 arranged below a straight travelling part of the transportation belt 3. A vegetable supplied to a space between the holding members 5, 5 at a folding-back part on one side where the space between the holding members 5, 5 widens outward is brought into a floating state by being held as the space between the holding members 5, 5 narrows when reaching the straight travelling part, and an end portion thereof below the round blade 21 is cut by making contact with the round blade 21 under the state. The vegetable of which end portion has been cut then reaches the folding-back part on the other side, is released, and dropped by the space between the holding members 5, 5 widening outward.</p> |
