A system comprising a portable device and an external device connected wirelessly, wherein graphical user interface data determining a user interface functionality to be executed in a user interface of an external device is determined in a portable apparatus and transmitted to the external device, the user interface functionality comprising presenting at least one graphical interaction element on the user interface and receiving user input as a response to the user interacting with the graphical interaction element, and the input data received from the user interface being used in the portable device to control a computer process relating to physiological data.
