Provided is an information display system enabling the driver to reliably recognize an obstacle and providing drive assist with high level of safety. In accordance with the degree of danger of an obstacle with respect to a vehicle, the mode of a virtual image indicating the profile or frame line of the obstacle is changed, and also the display position of the virtual image is adjusted in accordance with the driver's viewpoint position, whereby a display displacement between the actual obstacle and the virtual image is reduced. Also, a predicted line of motion of the obstacle is displayed as a virtual image, enabling the driver to intuitively recognize the obstacle, and providing an information display system that does not interfere with driving. |
