<p>A regulator for independently and continuously variable valve timing and valve lift, comprising a regulator body (1), a connecting sleeve (10), and a cover (13). The connecting sleeve (10) is arranged between the regulator body (1) and the cover (13), while the three are connected as a single body. A timing regulator limiting sleeve (12) is arranged within the connecting sleeve (10). A lifting regulator limiting sleeve (14) is arranged within the timing regulator limiting sleeve (12). A timing regulator plunger component consists of a timing regulator plunger (5), a timing regulator plunger sleeve (6), a timing regulator limiting rod (8), and a timing regulator spring (7). A lift regulator plunger component consists of a lift regulator plunger sleeve (3), a lift regulator plunger (4), a lift regulator limiting rod (11), and a lift regulator spring (2). The regulator is capable of regulating continuously and independently valve timing and valve lift, thus satisfying valve timing requirements at various rotational speeds and valve lift requirements at various loads of an engine, and increasing the fuel economy and emission reduction of the engine.</p> |
