According to the present invention, a black box device for a vehicle comprises: an impact amount sensor to sense an amount of impact applied on a vehicle; a camera to photograph front and rear sides of the vehicle; a reader which emits a beam and receives a tag information from a tag installed in other vehicles; and a control unit. The control unit stores an image information photographed by the camera and the tag information acquired from the reader for the first time when a car engine is started, and stores the image information and the tag information for the second time while storing the image information and the tag information when an impact amount sensed by the impact amount sensor is greater than or equal to a preset setting value; or when the car engine is turned off, the control unit stores the tag information acquired by the reader for the first time and stores the image information and the tag information when the impact amount sensed by the impact amount sensor is greater than or equal to a preset setting value. According to the present invention, information about other vehicles nearby is collected using images and radio frequency identification (RFID); thus enabling to quickly handle various car accidents and thefts. |
