<p>In order to reduce computational load when generating a parameter map, there is provided a parameter map generation system for generating correspondence information including the correspondence of values of a coil resistance to values of the ambient temperature and values of the current, where the coil resistance is a response variable and the ambient temperature and the current are explanatory variables, said parameter map generation system being characterized by comprising: a simulation processing unit which sequentially calculates values of the ambient temperature and the corresponding values of the current from predetermined values according to a predetermined procedure; a region examination unit which, based on a variation curve (701) indicating the current as a function of the ambient temperature, examines a reference region (800) for generating a parameter map; and a calculation processing unit which generates a parameter map from the data within the reference region (800).</p> |
