<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detection device which can improve control performance in a low-rotation area, and can suppress the collapse of a pulse in a high-rotation area while suppressing an increase of a cost.SOLUTION: A rotation angle detection system which outputs a rotation signal composed of a pulse row at each unit of a prescribed angle according to the rotation of a rotating shaft comprises: a rotation sensor (12) which outputs a signal of a first angle unit at low-rotation at which a rotation number is smaller than a reference rotation number, outputs a signal of a second angle unit larger than the first angle unit at high-rotation at which the rotation number is not smaller than the reference rotation number, and outputs pulse width information which can discriminate the low-rotation and the high-rotation by adding it to the rotation signal; and an electronic control device (14) which detects a rotation angle of the rotating shaft on the basis of the rotation signal. The electronic control device determines that the rotating shaft is in the low-rotation or the high-rotation on the basis of the pulse width information, counts the rotation signal as a signal of the first angle unit when the rotating shaft is in the high-rotation, and counts the rotation signal as the second angle unit when the rotating shaft is in the high-rotation.</p> |
