<p>A continuously variable valve lift actuator, a connecting collar (6) being mounted between the actuator body (1) and the cover (9); by means of connecting members, the actuator body (1), the connecting collar (6), and the cover (9) are connected together; a retaining collar (7) is mounted inside the connecting collar (6) and can be driven by an actuating device to adjust the axial position of the retaining collar; a piston component consists of a piston sleeve (2), a piston (3), a retainer rod (5), and a spring (4); the piston sleeve (2) is fixed in the front end bore of the actuator body (1), the piston (3) is mounted in the bore of the piston sleeve (2) and can slide back and forth along the axial direction, the retainer rod (5) is mounted in the bore of the connecting collar (6) and the rear end surface of the retainer rod makes contact with the retaining collar (7), and a spring (4) is sleeved on the retainer rod (5), the front end of the spring being in contact with the rear end surface of the piston (3) and the rear end of the spring being in contact with the stepped surface on the retainer rod (5). The continuously variable valve lift actuator continuously adjusts the lift of the valve, meeting the valve lift demands of the engine under various loads and improving the fuel economy and emissions reduction of the engine.</p> |
