<p>An identity authentication method, apparatus, and system relate to the technical field of networks. The method comprises: receiving an identity authentication request sent by a terminal device, the identity authentication request carrying a user identity and a first position, and the first position being a current position of the terminal device; detecting, according to the first position in the identity authentication request, whether the first position matches a second position bound with the user identity; and if the first position matches the second position, determining that identity authentication on the user identity succeeds. According to the present invention, the server authenticates a user identity by detecting whether a position of a terminal device in an authentication process matches a position bound with the user identity, so as to solve the problem that an information leakage and a property loss that may be caused after a hacker illegally obtains user information, and achieve the effect of further protecting the user information and the security of the property.</p> |
