PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely staple at a position which a user designates, for space saving of a device and a lower cost.SOLUTION: A central control part, when stapling on the paper that is skewed on a saddle latching part 341 because a rear end part of the paper is kept to be placed on a transportation part at the time of stapling from a binding position on a lowest stream side in transportation direction, makes a stapling part 351 to staple at a binding position other than the binding position on the lowest stream side in transportation direction among a plurality of binding positions. Then, the paper is made to push back on the saddle latching part toward an upper stream side in transportation direction by a tip end side matching part, after that, the stapling part staples at the binding position on a lower stream side in transportation direction than the binding position at which stapling has been done. |
