PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biochip substrate in which contamination of a stabilized living matter related substance is not generated even when a reaction spot of the biochip substrate is made high density, and a biochip including the same.SOLUTION: The biochip substrate comprises a substrate and plural reaction spots disposed on the substrate. Plural grooves for individually and independently surrounding each of the reaction spots are disposed on the substrate. The living matter related substance is stabilized on each of the reaction spots of the biochip substrate.
