PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper device capable of detecting a position of a wiper blade and the rotation speed of an output shaft from a detection result of one sensor.SOLUTION: A rotation angle sensor 54 detects a magnetic field of a magnet rotating with an output shaft 32, and outputs changes of the magnetic field of the magnet due to rotations as changes of voltage. A microcomputer 58 calculates a rotation angle of the output shaft 32 indicating positions of wiper blades 28 and 30 on a windshield 12 from a voltage value obtained by sampling voltage outputted from the rotation angle sensor 54 at predetermined intervals, calculates the rotation speed of the output shaft 32 from the rotation angle of the output shaft 32 calculated after predetermined time has passed and the predetermined time. The rotations of a wiper motor 18 is controlled on the basis of the calculated rotation angle and rotation speed of the output shaft 32. |
