PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity selling data processing device capable of improving a facing property to a customer, and a program.SOLUTION: The commodity selling data processing device comprises a housing, an operation display unit, acceptance means, display control means, and opening/closing control means. The housing accommodates a money collection box inside and has an opening unit on the top face capable of taking money into/from the money collection box. The operation display unit functions as a cover of the opening unit. The acceptance means accepts key operation for calculating a total amount for one transaction. The opening/closing control means causes the operation display unit to be in a closing state for covering the upside of the opening unit while the key operation is not accepted. When the key operation is accepted, the opening/closing control means causes the operation display unit to be in an opening state for opening to a customer side so as to allow money to be taken into/from the money collection box from a clerk side. |
