A sine-wave oscillator (100) for inductive sensors is disclosed. The sine-wave oscillator comprises a decoupler (120) and a low-pass filter (130), wherein the decoupler (120) is designed to provide a pulse-width-modulated signal as a decoupled signal (150) at an output of the decoupler (120). An input of the low-pass filter (130) is connected to the output of the decoupler (120). The low-pass filter (130) is designed to provide a sinusoidal signal (160) for the inductive sensors (300) at an output of the low-pass filter (130) using the inverted signal (150). The sine-wave oscillator (100) also comprises a microcontroller (110) which is designed to provide the pulse-width-modulated signal (140) at a predetermined frequency and with a predetermined duty factor at a pin of the microcontroller (110).
