The present invention provides a reel seat with an excellent grip sensation without a step between the body and a movable hood. The movable hood for the reel seat according to an embodiment has: a hood part through which a body (110) of the reel seat passes and which presses and affixes one attachment leg of a reel to the body; and a nut part that is linked rotatably to the hood part with the body (110) as a center and that is joined by threads on the inside peripheral surface thereof with the outside peripheral surface of the body (110). The hood part has a pair of first guide protrusions (137L, 137R) and a second guide protrusion (138) that fit into the outside peripheral surface of the body (110) for guiding the movement of the body (110) in the longitudinal direction. The pair of first guide protrusions (137L, 137R) protrude from the inside peripheral surface of the hood part on the upper side of the center axis of the hood part, and the second guide protrusion (138) protrudes from the inside peripheral surface of the hood part on the lower end of the hood part. The thickness of the hood part in the direction of the radius in a cross-sectional plane is reduced moving from the first guide protrusions (137L, 137R) to the second guide protrusion (138). |
