<p>A method and system for processing online trading data are disclosed. The method for processing trading data includes receiving a trade request from a user terminal, the request including an identification of a user and an identification of a user group and setting user authority of the user to host if the trade request is a trade initiation request. The method further includes obtaining a trade identification associated with the user group if the trade request is not a trade initiation request; setting user authority of the user to seller if a seller associated with the trade identification matches the identification of the user; and setting user authority of the user to buyer. Embodiments consistent with the present disclosure set the user authority to be an auction/trade host, a seller, a buyer, or an observer. During an auction, users would have the authority to execute the operations according to their user authority levels, which ensures the security of the auction process.</p> |
