PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve quench resistance of a permanent current switch.SOLUTION: The permanent current switch includes a series of current paths (101) formed of a super conductor, and heaters (4a, 4b), where the current paths (101) constitute a flat plate having slits. A plurality of flat plates are laminated, an insulation sheet or the heaters (4a, 4b) are arranged between adjacent flat plates, the current paths of the adjacent flat plates are also connected continuously, and the adjacent current paths use permanent current switches of such a configuration as the directions of current are different from each other. |
