PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector or the like that can more effectively utilize an imaging function.SOLUTION: A projector 100 comprises: an imaging part 130 for picking up a projection target area with light in a visible light band and generating a first pickup image, and picking up the projection target area including indication light having wavelength of invisible light with light in an invisible light band and generating a second pickup image; an image generating part 120 for performing trapezoidal distortion correction on the basis of the first pickup image; a positional-information generating part 140 for generating positional information indicating a position of the indication light on the basis of the second pickup image; and a projecting part 190 for projecting an image on the basis of the positional information in a state in which the trapezoidal distortion correction is performed. |
