<p>In the present invention, a load reduction device is provided with a storage device interface unit, a buffer memory unit, a data control unit, a packet generation unit, a communication interface unit, and a data release unit. The storage device interface unit acquires data from a storage device without using a processor. The buffer memory unit stores data. The data control unit causes the buffer memory unit to store data in regions. The packet generation unit generates, for each region, a packet that includes data read out from the buffer memory unit. The communication interface unit sends the packets to a client device. The data release unit releases data from the regions where data, which had been included in the packets received by an external device, has been read out.</p> |
