PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus which facilitates input of key words to be used for scene retrieval and facilitates retrieval of a scene of user's interest, a control method for an electronic apparatus and an information storage medium.SOLUTION: A data base file 243 stores, as data for a scene list, data including caption data about caption in a reception program and time data showing display time of the caption. A data base file 244 stores, as key words, a character string of the caption data of the caption of a program being viewed. A key word preparing portion 232, when display command for key words is inputted during viewing the program, reads out a plurality of key words corresponding to the program being viewed from the data base file 244 to be prepared as the key words for display. A scene list preparing portion 233, when arbitrary key word is selected from a plurality of key words being displayed, prepares the scene selection items of a plurality of scenes including the caption data corresponding to the selected key word, using the data for the scene list so as to be used for the scene list. |
