PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic capacity type touch panel whose accuracy of position is improved, including during a drag operation in consideration of influence caused by approach of a hand.SOLUTION: Immediately after touch-on is determined, a first detection position influenced by a hand and a precise second detection position that has eliminated the influence by the hand are calculated, and a correction value is calculated based on the first and the second detection positions. From when the touch-on is determined to when touch-off is determined, by successively calculating the first detection position influenced by the hand once, correcting it by the correction value, and calculating a third detection position, accuracy of position during a drag operation is improved. |
