PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-quality photographic image in various photographing situations.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprising plural imaging devices with different color filters performs processes of: determining a photographing situation (SA5); and image generation of generating image data on the basis of different imaging signals obtained by the imaging devices with the different color filters. The process of image generation performs image signal processes (SA6, SA7) of different contents predetermined in accordance with the photographing situation determined by the determination process.
