<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum valve with contacts having conductivity characteristic and shut-off characteristic to open/close a DC circuit.SOLUTION: The vacuum valve for DC circuit breaker with a pair of connectable/disconnectable contacts includes; a conducting contact 2 which is formed of a conductive alloy having a high conductivity including a counterbored hole 5 formed at the center; and a shut-off contact 4 which is formed of a highly resistive metal having a high current shut-off value positioned on the periphery of the conducting contact 2 lower than the conducting contact 2, and which is formed with arc-shaped plural slits 3. The conducting contact 2 and the shut-off contact 4 are formed of different metal materials to have the conductivity characteristic and the shut-off characteristic, respectively.</p> |
