<p>Provided is an industrial robot that has a reduction gear assembly at each joint section and that can be overhauled easily and at a low cost. This industrial robot is equipped with: a distal arm section (21) to which a hand (4) is rotatably connected; and a first arm section (20) to which the distal arm section (21) is rotatably connected. A first joint section (22) for connecting the distal arm section (21) and first arm section (20) together is equipped with a reduction gear assembly (37) that has an input shaft, an output shaft for reducing and outputting motive power that has been input to the input shaft, and a case body for rotatably supporting the input shaft and output shaft. A second joint section (23) for connecting the hand (4) and distal arm section (21) together is equipped with a reduction gear assembly (38) that has an input shaft, an output shaft for reducing and outputting motive power that has been input to the input shaft, and a case body for rotatably supporting the input shaft and output shaft. The case body of reduction gear assembly (37) and the case body of reduction gear assembly (38) are fixed on the distal arm section (21) side.</p> |
