<p>PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a method for controlling an operation of the same are provided to search data mapped on a touch pattern to display the searched data, thereby dialing using the touch pattern. CONSTITUTION: A display module(151) is realized by a touch screen. A controller(180) performs a specific operation mapped on the touch pattern inputted on the touch screen. The touch screen includes a specific area for recognizing the touch pattern and a reference indicator for displaying the center of the specific area.</p> |
