<p>PURPOSE: A compressor and an air-conditioner with the same are provided to reduce power consumption by preventing repetitive on/off of the power of the compressor. CONSTITUTION: An air-conditioner comprises a compressor(10), a temperature detection unit(30), and a control unit(20). The compressor has a power mode in which the compression capacity is the maximum and a saving mode in which the compression capacity is less than that in the power mode. The temperature detection unit detects the temperature for deciding the operating mode of the compressor. The control unit changes the operating mode of the compressor by comparing the temperature with a set temperature.</p> |
