PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having a middle high part to facilitate securing a required absorption capacity, hardly causing twist, and excellent in a fitting property to the body and leakage prevention property.SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 includes an absorbent body 5 having an excretion part facing part B. An absorber 4 has, in the excretion part facing part B, a middle high part 42 thicker than a part existing on the periphery. The front and rear of the middle high part 42 on a skin opposite surface of the absorbent body 5 are formed with a front lateral groove 52 and a rear lateral groove 53 having a planar view shape curved in a projecting shape to the front and rear ends of the absorbent article 1 in a separating state from each other. The absorber 4 has an inner side slit row R1 and an outer side slit row R2 in the inside and outside of the side edge of the middle high part 42. Both slit rows R1 and R2 are each formed with a longitudinal slit 43 extending in the front/back direction X intermittently in the front/back direction X, and both slit rows R1 and R2 are arranged in an area where a groove extending in the front/back direction X between the front lateral groove 52 and the rear lateral groove 53 does not exist. |
