PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow image terminal equipment connected to other network to perform access to an image forming apparatus even when a network address of the image forming apparatus is changed at an arbitrary point of time.SOLUTION: A client CC10-1 stores information of each of image forming apparatuses to which the client has performed access, and when access using the stored information fails, successively requests a transmission of a network address to be used for access and an individual identification number for identifying an individual by a broadcast format to networks LAN118-1 to LAN118-n to which the image forming apparatuses are connected. The image forming apparatus makes a reply with the requested network address and individual identification number. When individual identification information included in the reply indicates the desired image forming apparatus, the client performs access to the image forming apparatus by using the network address of the image forming apparatus. |
