<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect mist efficiently.SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises an upstream side suction port 203 and a downstream side suction port 204 opening toward a droplet discharge direction and respectively disposed on the upstream side and downstream side of a medium transport direction of a recording head 202. When it is in an image quality priority mode, an upstream side suction fan 206 is driven for sucking from the upstream side suction port 203 at a suction amount Q2, and a downstream side suction fan 209 is driven for sucking from the downstream side suction port 204 at a suction amount P2. When it is in a speed priority mode, the upstream side suction fan 206 is driven for sucking from the upstream side suction port 203 by a suction amount Q1, and the downstream side suction fan 209 is driven for sucking from the downstream side suction port 204 by a suction amount P1. Thereby, according to increase of transport speed of a sheet 100, the suction amount from the downstream side suction port 204 is increased, and the suction amount from the upstream side suction port 203 is reduced.</p> |
