1. A method of analyzing one or more properties of an aliquot of water comprising:
providing a package comprising a body having a first compartment comprising a first substance, a second compartment comprising a second substance, and a breakable seal that separates the first and second compartments; breaking the breakable seal via physical force, thereby providing for the formation of a mixture comprising the first and second substances; adding the mixture to an aliquot of water; and analyzing the one or more properties of the aliquot of water; wherein the first substance comprises a liquid and the second substance comprises a reagent for water analysis.
