The present invention relates to: a non-aqueous electrolyte solution including a non-aqueous organic solvent, a lithium salt, and a borate-based salt compound represented by Chemical Formula 1; and a lithium secondary battery including the same. According to the present invention, a non-aqueous electrolyte solution is provided including one or more borate-based salt compounds as additives, so that a lithium secondary battery having improved cycle characteristics and high temperature storage stability can be manufactured.
