A filtration instrument used for removing foreign matter in cell suspensions, wherein the filter container has a structure, which uses a transparent or semi-transparent material and with which solids that have been trapped in the filter can be easily removed. Specifically, the filter container has a structure from which solids that have been trapped in the filter can be removed by cutting the filter container with scissors. Said configuration prevents the intermixing of foreign matter in the cell suspension and, if foreign matter is intermixed, facilitates removal and analysis of the foreign matter to elucidate the cause of the foreign matter intermixing. |
