PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery which inhibits contact failure between a collector and a terminal when an impact such as dropping is applied and achieves good quality and good sealability of a case.SOLUTION: At a center part of a lid of a battery, a negative electrode terminal, having a T shape in a cross sectional view, penetrates through the lid being enclosed by a gasket. An insulator contacts with a lower end part of the gasket, and a plate like collector is housed in the insulator. The collector is provided with an insulation hole, and the terminal is inserted into the insertion hole thereby being joined to the terminal. The insertion hole forms a polygonal shape, and a portion of the terminal which is inserted into the insertion hole forms the same polygonal shape as the insertion hole in a plane view. |
