PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner that improves ease of holding in a state where an air passage body is detached from a main body part by a holding part.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner 11 comprises a main body part 12 including an electric air blower 25. The vacuum cleaner 11 comprises an air passage body 13. The air passage body 13 is biased in a contraction direction, and comprises an extendable hose body 82 of which the side of a downstream end is connected to the main body part 12 so as to communicate with the side of suction of the electric air blower 25. The air passage body 13 comprises a suction port body part 83 that communicates with the side of an upstream end of the hose body 82. The vacuum cleaner 11 comprises a holding part 14 that can detachably attach the suction port body part 83 of the air passage body 13 to the main body part 12. The vacuum cleaner 11 comprises a main body handle 15 provided on the side opposite to a portion of the main body 12 to which the air passage body 13 is connected, via a barycenter G of the main body part 12. The vacuum cleaner 11 comprises an air passage body handle 17 for gripping the air passage body 13.
