PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quicken the connection processing of relational databases.SOLUTION: A load distribution device includes: a storage part; a specification part; a request part; and a merge part. The storage part stores management information in which a data range identifier for identifying each of data ranges into which the data are divided is associated with a core identifier for identifying a core processor which executes arithmetic processing to the data range. The specification part specifies each core processor associated with each of the data ranges included in the data by referring to the management information stored in the storage part when connection processing to the data is requested. The request part requests connection processing to the data range to each core processor specified by the specification part. The merge part merges the connection processing result from each core processor, and makes a reply to the request.
