<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strengthened glass cutting method in which a scribing wheel can travel without sliding on a surface of strengthened gass of a touch pad etc., of a laptop personal computer, a mobile phone, etc., when cutting the strengthened glass.SOLUTION: A strengthened glass cutting method includes an initial cutting stage of forming a dent at a scribing start position on a surface of strengthened glass (6) using a scribing wheel (20), and a later cutting stage of scribing the whole strengthened glass (6) from the scribing start position after returning the scribing wheel (20) to the dent position formed on the surface of the strengthened glass (6), thereby the scribing wheel (20) smoothly cutting the strengthened glass (6) without sliding on its surface.</p> |
