ELECTROWETTING DISPLAY APPARATUS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

An electrowetting display apparatus comprises multiple fluid cavities and polar fluids (180) in the fluid cavities. Each of the fluid cavities comprises a substrate. The substrate comprises a first electrode (140) and a second electrode (120) in mutual insulation, and comprises an electrical transformation film (150). The electrical transformation film (150) is located on one side close to the polar fluids (180), of the first electrode (140). According to a voltage value applied by the first electrode (140), a contact angle between the electrical transformation film (150) and the polar fluid (180) is transformed between a first contact angle and a second contact angle. The first contact angle is not larger than 25 degrees, and the second contact angle is not less than 90 degrees. The electrowetting display apparatus has a simple structure, a stable fluid property and a long service life. Also disclosed is a method for manufacturing the electrowetting display apparatus.
