Toweling or other paper sheet material dispenser apparatus includes a sheet material support roller carrying a moveable cutter blade. A user pulls on a sheet material tail to rotate the sheet material support roller and transport the sheet material. After the sheet material is substantially or completely severed by a cutter blade on the roller, an electric switch is closed and an electric motor energized to drive the roller and present a new tail to be pulled by a user.
