<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The element (1) has a housing (2) including lateral walls (2a, 2b) integrated to a bottom wall (3) positioned on a mobile structure (8) i.e. vehicle. Armor plating modules (6) are mounted on tabs (11) secured to the lateral walls. The modules are individually inserted or removed from the housing through a front opening (10). The modules are arranged opposite to the bottom wall. A stop unit i.e. screw (13), ensures maintenance of each module with respect to the lateral walls when placed between the lateral walls. The modules are separated by a dampening material layer. #CMT# : #/CMT# The armor plating modules are separated by a layer made of a dampening material such as honeycomb material. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Passive or reactive armor plating element for armor plating of a wall of a mobile structure such as vehicle (claimed) i.e. military vehicle, in order to provide additional protection against rockets or missiles. Can also be used for a fixed structure such as building, shelter or command post. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The design of the armor plating element reduces weight of the vehicle by easy withdrawal of the armor plating modules outside the housing. The design of the armor plating element ensures easy replacement of the armor plating modules.
